Brake System

Greetings,

Today i would like to talk to you about the braking system of a vehicle i would go on the details and explain its operations and a brief description of the components and also the common problems faced by customers related to brake issues .

This picture below indicates some of the basic competes of the brake system. There are two types of braking methods the first one is Disc Brake and the other is Drum Brake. For an instance disc brakes stops the rotation of the wheel due to the friction when the brakes pads clamps and brake rotor where else for drum brakes it would stop the rotation of the wheel when the the wheel cylinder pushes out the brake shoes which would the cause the lining to create friction which would soon stop the vehicle depending on the request of the driver.

Common components which require periodic replacements for disc brakes are the rotor and and the brake pads and not also forgetting its hydraulic fluid. In the brake system hydraulic fluid is used as a medium to generate pressure and to create a mechanical movement as well as lubrication. For vehicle equipped with drum brakes constant inspection on the wheel cylinder as well as the brake lining have to be done periodically. This is just a slight overview on braking system later on ill provide much detailed pictures on the brake system itself.
